The Delusional Homophobe
Check out my update to Tuesday’s story on the Oshawa drag-show kerfuffle;
Oshawa publisher continues homophobic tirade.
And here’s an extract of our conversation regarding the gaybashing that took place in Oshawa. Prepare to cringe!
Ingino: You make it sound like it was the poor woman who got beaten on, they were just standing there with their poor six-year-old. Why don’t you tell the real story?
Ling: He was convicted of attacking her-
I: He was convicted of attacking her. But what happened there? What happened in that story, if you say you followed it, what happened?
L: I read it yesterday-
I: Oh so you don’t know the-
[crosstalk]
I: I was there, I took the report when it was happening. What happened was, these two women were known to cause trouble at this particular school. They had picked fights with other mothers in the past. At this one time, this man appeared on the scene, he was a parent of one of the kids. He kinda flipped. Yeah, he was extremely wrong. And what he did was completely and totally inappropriate. And he served his time for it. On the same token, the women were totally, completely out of line and this is something I don’t see in your story here. It sounds like, oh, poor gay bashing. It wasn’t gay bashing, because what happened was that it was a confrontation. One of the women woman got in this guy’s face, he got aggressive, then the other one jumped in, then they both got beaten. So get it straight, there.

I: BULLSHIT. [Amy England] didn’t even know [about the assault,] she wasn’t even in office when this took place. She’s a liar.
…
I: It wasn’t like he came out and started calling her names.
L: According to the court documents, yes, he did call her “a fucking dyke.”
I: Yeah! After she jumped in and got in her face.
L:You think it’s acceptable? He was convicted of beating her.
I: Of course! He was totally out of line. I agree with you 100% He shouldn’t have touched a hair…
L: But he did. And he called her a fucking dyke.
I: Yes, but after the fact.
